The Dare County Board of Commissioners conducts regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year. Meetings are generally held on the first Monday of the month at 9:00 AM and the third Monday of each month at 5:00 PM. Occasionally this schedule is adjusted to accommodate holidays and there are a few months each year when only one meeting is held. 

Meetings are held in the Board of Commissioners meeting room adjacent to the Dare County Administration Building, 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo. Entrance to the Commissioners meeting room and ample free parking is available between the Administration Building and the Dare County Justice Center.

In order to maintain the safety of Dare County and continue to follow COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, the Board of Commissioners meeting will be held as scheduled, streamed live and public comments may be presented to the Board by sending an email prior to or during the meeting to: DCBOC@darenc.com Emailed Public Comments will be received by the Board through the end of this meeting.

 During this meeting there will be Public Hearing on:

 Temporary Provisions for Restaurants and Mobile Food Units

 Comments for the Public Hearing may be presented to the Board by sending an email prior to or during the public hearing to dcboc@darenc.com on this issue.

Item 4 on the agenda is Presentation of the Manager's FY2021 Budget. 

  The Outer Banks Hazard Mitigation Plan will be presented to the Board for adoption. The plan may be viewed in its entirety on darenc.com website on the Board of Commissioner’s page with a link under Meetings.
