The Dare County Dance Department is a division of the Dare County Parks and Recreation Department and is under the direction of Julie Tortelli. Dance classes for children ages 3 through high school are offered in Manteo, Kill Devil Hills and Buxton.

Classes are taught in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and pointe, with individual student instruction dependent on age and level of accomplishment. You may register your child at any Dare County Parks and Recreation Department office or by calling Dare County Dance Director Julie Tortelli at 252.475.5610 for more information.
