The N.C. 12 Task Force is a collaborative effort that includes stakeholders from Dare County, Hyde County, the National Park Service (NPS), the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, the N.C. Division of Coastal Management (CAMA), the Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC), the Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative and the Tideland Electric Membership Cooperative.
