Trips Within Dare County - $3 one way/$6 roundtrip 

Trips Outside of Dare County - $7 one way/$14 roundtrip (Medical Appointments Only!)

(Children under the height of 4’ 6” ride for free.)

• Fare ticket books may be purchased in advance at the Dare County Transportation office in person (Dare County Administration Building, 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo) or by telephone (252.475.5640) at a 15 percent discounted rate.
• Dare County Transportation drivers may accept exact change only, as well as payment via check or money order.

Elderly and Disabled Transportation Service:

Elderly and Disabled Transportation Assistance Program (EDTAP) funds are intended for those individuals who do not qualify for transportation assistance under a social services program. If you require financial assistance, download this Transportation Assistance Program form. When you complete the form, please return it to the Dare County Department of Department of Health & Human Services' Social Services Division, which is located at 109 Exeter Street, Manteo, N.C., 27954.
