Dare County Parks & Recreation works with the Outer Banks Tennis Association (OBXTA) to provide tennis opportunities for all ages. The OBXTA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) committed to the development of recreational tennis in Dare County.

  • Four outdoor tennis courts are located at Family Recreation Park (602 Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills).
  • Tennis courts are lit with automatic timers that shut the lights off at 11 p.m.
  • Courts three and four have mobile pickleball nets that can be wheeled off the court when not in use.
