Join Us for the first Dare County Family Fun in the Park Block Party!

Location: 602 Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills
The Dare County Parks & Recreation Department's Family Fun in the Park Block Party is still on for tonight! However, due to the inclement weather that is forecast for this evening, the event will be moved inside the Dare County Parks & Recreation Youth Center at Family Recreation Park, which is located at 602 Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this evening (Friday, July 19, 2024) within the youth center.

What's in Store?
Cookout: Enjoy grilled hotdogs and hamburgers!*
Games: Fun activities for all ages including an inflatable slide!
Work Vehicle Displays: Get up close with emergency services vehicles!
*While the food is free, donations will be graciously accepted to the Tim White Memorial Fund or the F.C. Minton Fund. These funds provide local children with the opportunity to attend recreational programs, free of charge.
Parking (Updated for Indoor Event)
Free public parking is available at Family Recreation Park, as well as the Dare County Water Department and Kill Devil Hills Library.

The fun begins at the Dare County Parks & Recreation Youth Center, where participants will pick up a map at the welcome booth that can be stamped at each stop and returned when finished for entry to win several prizes.
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for an unforgettable evening of fun and community spirit. This is a free event, and everyone in the community is invited to attend!
