IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY – DIAL 911 instead of attempting to make the trip to an EMS station. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) staff are stationed at eight facilities throughout Dare County. The public is welcome to stop by any EMS station for a free routine blood pressure or glucose check. The duty crew will be happy to help unless they are out of the building responding to a call.
