The Dare to Be Safe Part II Program will be hosted by the League of Women Voters of dare County on April 25th at 7 pm to 8:30 pm. There will be (3) Speakers. Our speakers are Shannon Holbur, Mary Lahr Cain from the Moms Demand Action Group and TreNeice Townes from N.C. Department of Public Safety. There will be a discussion on proper gun storage and gun safety in general for our community. Also, for those interested, we will have gun locks to give out provided by the Health Department. All Dare County citizens are invited. To register for this event, please call the Baum Center at 252-475-5635.
