Dare County will host an open house to celebrate the recent completion of the newly constructed Dare County EMS Station 4 in Southern Shores from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend the open house, which will also include guided tours of the new facility as well as free blood pressure checks, "Stop the Bleed" training and Hands-Only CPR training provided by Dare County EMS staff members. In addition to the open house, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, featuring several key speakers.

The new 8,800-square-foot facility—which is located at 28 East Dogwood Trail in Southern Shores—is part of a multiphase project to improve and modernize outdated Dare County EMS facilities throughout the county in order to better serve the residents and visitors of our community.
