November and National Novel Writing Month (a.k.a. NaNoWriMo) will soon be upon us.
Never heard of National Novel Writing Month? During November hundreds of thousands of writers across the globe pledge to write 50,000 words in 30 days––essentially the first draft of a novel. Visit www.nanowrimo.org for more information.
This workshop series meets Saturday, September 23, and Saturday, October 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. leading up to the November challenge. Be sure to download the NaNo Prep 101 Workbook and either print your own copy or keep a digital copy for reference during the session. We will be using this throughout the workshop series as well as other resources, tools and tips.
