Board of Commissioners Meeting Room at the Dare County Administration Building
The North Carolina General Assembly established the North Carolina Resilient Redevelopment Planning (NCRRP) program to deliver a roadmap for community rebuilding and revitalization assistance for the communities impacted by Hurricane Matthew. The program empowers communities across the state to prepare locally driven recovery plans to identify redevelopment strategies, innovative reconstruction projects, and other needed actions. These redevelopment Plans will be finalized May 2017.
This public meeting intends to introduce your community to the NCRRP program and get your input on damages from the hurricane and needs to rebuild. This is the first of three public meetings where your input is critical to the development of resilient redevelopment strategies specific to your community and for inclusion in the final Plan (see above).
As a part of these meetings, your feedback and comments will be requested.
