The Special Meeting will be held at the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau Conference Room.

The Purpose of the meeting is to appoint Robert Ross to fill the District 2 vacancy that was created when Beverly Boswell resigned to serve in the North Carolina Legislature.

During the Special Meeting, the Board will also engage in a "retreat" to discuss issues facing Dare County and take such action as may be necessary.  

Among the items that will be discussed is the classification and compensation study for Dare County employees.  The Board may take action on the salary study and other items that are discussed.
