Opiates and Meth Exposure Training for Public Workers

Opiates and Meth Exposure Training will assist public workers to recognize the dangers associated with exposure to opioids, methamphetamines or other substances. Participants will learn the steps to take to avoid exposure and receive proper treatment if exposed. The course also discusses the use of naloxone to reverse overdose and how to recognize when an overdose is occurring.

This training is recommended for: Social Workers, Home Health Aides, Nurses, Law Enforcement, EMS, School Counselors, Emergency Management, Public Health, Public Works, Environmental Health, Social Services Workers, and Parks & Recreation Staff.
