Notice is hereby given that on Monday January 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Commissioners meeting room adjacent to the Dare County Administration Building, 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo,  the Dare County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to receive public comment, both written and oral on:

Proposed change to Dare County Ordinance Chapter 91: ANIMALS - Section 91.033 GENERAL CARE AND TETHERING OF DOGS.

As a result of this hearing a change may be made to the current ordinance to impose more stringent penalties for violations. A copy of the proposed change is on file in the office of the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners located at 954 Marshall Collins Drive, Manteo, NC.
