The Dare County Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality parks and recreation facilities, programs and leisure opportunities for the people of Dare County. We offer a variety of affordable programs and activities for individuals and families. Parks and Recreation programming is separated into three divisions to accommodate the county's unique geography: the Roanoke Island/Mainland Division, Northern Beach Division and Hatteras Island Division.

World Diabetes Day Health Fair and Lunch & Learn: Diabetes and Well-Being

Health Fair  10:30 a.m. to 12 noon

Lunch & Learn: Diabetes and Well-Being 12 noon to  1 p.m.

 

  • Join OBH and other local organizations and receive resources and education for those living with diabetes.

  • Enjoy a healthy lunch while learning how to put well-being at the heart of living with diabetes.

  • AIC screenings and Flu Shots with OBX Health Coach also available from 9am to 12 noon.
