VASCULAR SCREENING
Dare to C.A.R.E. free vascular screenings. Cardiovascular disease is the #1 health problem in the country today. More than half of all Americans will die from complications of atherosclerosis, the root of cardiovascular disease. Early detection is key.

If you are age 60 or over—or if you are age 50 or over and have risk factors such as smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol—you are eligible for a free vascular screening.

This examination is a non-invasive ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries in the neck and the aorta in the abdomen, as well as an evaluation of the circulation in your legs.

Screenings are done in Dare County in association with the Rotary Clubs.
