The Dare County Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality parks and recreation facilities, programs and leisure opportunities for the people of Dare County. We offer a variety of affordable programs and activities for individuals and families. Parks and Recreation programming is separated into three divisions to accommodate the county's unique geography: the Roanoke Island/Mainland Division, Northern Beach Division and Hatteras Island Division.

Join us for an easy day trip to Barco, NC to enjoy pumpkin season!  We will have lunch at Sakura Japanese Restaurant before returning home.
