The Dare County Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality parks and recreation facilities, programs and leisure opportunities for the people of Dare County. We offer a variety of affordable programs and activities for individuals and families. Parks and Recreation programming is separated into three divisions to accommodate the county's unique geography: the Roanoke Island/Mainland Division, Northern Beach Division and Hatteras Island Division.

Canasta and 5 Crowns

Both Canasta and Five Crowns are simple and easy to learn card games.  We offer instruction to beginners from 9am to 10am with regular play beginning at 10am.   Please join us, you can easily learn to play after one lesson!
