The Dare County Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality parks and recreation facilities, programs and leisure opportunities for the people of Dare County. We offer a variety of affordable programs and activities for individuals and families. Parks and Recreation programming is separated into three divisions to accommodate the county's unique geography: the Roanoke Island/Mainland Division, Northern Beach Division and Hatteras Island Division.

Volunteer with Parks and Recreation!

Rummikub

Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs or groups, Rummy style - the first player to use all of their tiles wins! Fast-paced, easy game play is ideal for people of different ages to play together.  This group is welcoming of new players and happy to help you learn the rules of the game! The game Contents: 106 tiles (2 sets of tiles numbered 1 to 13 in four colors: black, red, blue, orange; 2 Jokers); 4 playing racks.  This game is very easy to learn, but be careful- it is also quite addictive!!

Play available at the Library Table or in the Arts and Craft Room.
