Public Hearing - Balloon Ordinance

On Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, the Dare County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on the adoption of the Releasing Balloons within Unincorporated Dare County Ordinance under Chapter 96.06.

Comments can be made during the hearing which will be held in the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting room at the Dare County Administration Building, 954 Marshall Collins Drive in Manteo, NC. Comments may also be submitted via email to dcboc@darenc.gov. Following the close of the hearing, the Board may choose to act on the proposed amendments, make revisions based on citizen input or subsequent Board discussions; or delay action until a later date.
