Still On! Dare County Parks & Recreation to Host INDOOR Family Fun in the Park Block Party

• The Dare County Parks & Recreation Department's Family Fun in the Park Block Party is still on for tonight! However, due to the inclement weather that is forecast for this evening, the event will be moved inside the Dare County Parks & Recreation Youth Center at Family Recreation Park, which is located at 602 Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this evening (Friday, July 19, 2024) within the youth center.  

  All Dare County residents, visitors and property owners from throughout the community are invited to attend this free event, which will feature a cookout, inflatable slide, children's obstacle course, and a variety of games and sports, as well as emergency and work vehicle displays*, among many other activities! 

  The fun begins at the Dare County Parks & Recreation Youth Center, where participants will pick up a map at the welcome booth that can be stamped at each stop and returned when finished for entry to win several prizes.
